Our Sacred Heritage

The Beginning: A Vision of Devotion

The South Indian Education Society (SIES), which runs a major academic institution at Nerul, Navi Mumbai, envisioned creating a sanctuary of spiritual wisdom within their campus. With the blessings of the Sankaracharya of Kanchi, they decided to consecrate Lord Hanumanβ€”the only character in Indian mythology to have witnessed two great wars against evil forces.

Hanuman embodies divine qualities of intelligence, strength, fame, and skill in speech. His remembrance uplifts the human spirit and guides devotees toward spiritual enlightenment and inner strength. This vision culminated in the creation of the Sri Bhakta Aanjaneya Trust, dedicated to serving both spiritual and charitable needs of the community.

"While the SIES College Campus is a temple of learning preparing students for the temporal world, the Sri Bhakta Aanjaneya Trust temples prepare and guide the minds of devotees to attain spiritual knowledge and eternal bliss."
